Local Artists and Designers Flock to The Square

Here at The Square we always do our best to bring you things that are a little less run of the mill. If we can support local businesses at the same time then that's a Brucie Bonus! We've recently welcomed Sit On My Face (SOMF) which is the quirky textiles/design company of Jo Hancox. Taking photos and turning them into funky furnishings is her speciality and she offers ready made gifts as well as a bespoke service.

Crunched Gifts is run by Cassandra and offers an eclectic mix of handmade items including clothes, pictures and cards. She is one half of our new pop-up shop team and is really enjoying her time at The Square.

Bands across the spectrum of rock have covered their material, including Metallica, Guns ‘n’ Roses and My Chemical Romance. Now we're giving you the chance to win a pair of tickets to see The Misfits in Birmingham! Just like the comment on our Facebook page to be entered into the prize draw.

In 1977, at the dawn of the punk movement the Misfits set out to make an impression, and created a legacy that has truly withstood the test of time. Immortalizing black and white B horror films in their music, the Misfits developed a ghoulish and totally unique persona that’s consistently evolved, while remaining true to its roots.

Vintage Arts and Crafts are back at The Square!

We've got our second Arts and Crafts Vintage Market at The Square Birmingham on 4th February 2012. Purrple Catt's, Vote Vintage , Lollipop Cards, BSKA and many more are already confirmed but there's still time to book a place for your stall! If that seems a bit soon then why not pre-book for our next event? We have a market on the first Saturday of every month and at only £10 a stall, you'd be hard pushed to find a better deal in a city-centre location.
